BeeWi consolidates it’s position in the remote control toy market with it’s 2011 bestsellers: Mini Cooper and Helicopter

2011 was a very productive year for the wireless specialist brand BeeWi. Just months after the release of it’s Android and iPhone remote controlled Mini Cooper, BeeWi was awarded the innovation prize at the "Best of CES" ceremony organized by the Bluetooth SIG in Las Vegas.

“The remote control toys we have developed since 2010 have been a real hit with consumers looking for new technologies and awaiting this type of product, which was previously unavailable on the market”, said Thierry Dechatre, founder of BeeWi. “This success was reinforced at CES in Las Vegas. We are really proud of this achievement and it reinforces our strategy: to continue to develop increasingly more sophisticated remote control toys.”

At the Mobile World Congress, Thierry Dechatre and his team will discuss future BeeWi projects.

Andy Tow, Managing Director of Avenir Accessories in the UK, says: “We are delighted with the success of our exclusive BeeWi products.  Our production team in France has worked tirelessly to bring these remote controlled toys to market, and we look forward to launching exciting new products under the BeeWi brand.”
